Frequently Asked Questions
Both systems let you combine wool duvets for different seasons, but they work differently.
The ZipSet comes as a fixed set of two duvets — a 250gr summer layer and a 450gr spring/autumn layer — that zip together along the edge to create a 700gr winter duvet. You always get both layers together as one complete system.
The Multichoice is more flexible. It's a range of four individual duvets in different weights that you can buy separately and snap together using built-in buttons. Buy just one weight if that's all you need, combine two for extra warmth, or build the full system over time. The choice is entirely yours.
Choosing the right wool duvet comes down to how you sleep, how often you want to think about it, and how much flexibility you need. Here's a breakdown by product type to help you decide.
Multikeus Wool Duvets — if you want to choose your exact warmth level
The Multi Choice range comes in four weights — 120gr, 200gr, 400gr and 600gr — each designed for a specific season. Buy one weight for now, or combine multiple weights using the built-in snap buttons for a fully customisable system. Best for sleepers who like control over exactly how warm they sleep and don't mind swapping duvets between seasons.
Tencel-Wool Duvets — if breathability is your priority
Available in a lightweight 120gr summer version and a year-round 365gr version, the Tencel-Wool duvets feature a 90% Tencel cover blended with 10% Texeler wool for superior moisture management and breathability. Best for hot sleepers, those who sweat at night, or anyone who prioritises a cool, dry sleeping environment.
ZipSet Wool Duvets — if you want one system for every season
The ZipSet Wool Duvets contains a 250gr summer layer and a 450gr spring/autumn layer that zip together to create a 700gr winter duvet. Three warmth levels, one system. Best for sleepers who want full seasonal flexibility without buying multiple separate duvets.
All-Season Single Wool Duvets — if you want one duvet for the whole year
The 'Ultimate Best' Wool Duvet, Washable Wool Duvett and Tencel-Wool Duvet 365gr are each designed to be comfortable across all seasons in a single duvet. No swapping, no storing, no system to think about. Best for sleepers who want simplicity, or anyone buying a duvet as a gift and unsure which weight to choose.
Washable Wool Duvet — if easy care is important to you
The Washable Wool Duvet is the only duvet in our range that is machine washable — making it the practical choice for families, parents with young children, or anyone who wants the natural benefits of wool without the specialist cleaning requirement.
'Ultimate Best' — if you simply want the best
The flagship of the Texeler range. Filled with 100% pure double-combed lambswool and finished with a 90% Tencel / 10% wool cover, the 'Ultimate Best' collection is the ultimate expression of Texeler craftsmanship. Best for sleepers who don't compromise.
It depends on the duvet. Our All-Season Single range — are designed to be comfortable across all seasons in one single duvet. If you prefer a dedicated summer and winter option, our seasonal range or ZipSet system gives you that flexibility.
Yes. Texeler wool is naturally hypoallergenic and resistant to dust mites, mold and allergens without any chemical treatment. It's a healthier choice for sensitive sleepers compared to synthetic alternatives.
Down is light but traps heat and moisture, can trigger allergies, and raises sourcing concerns. Synthetics are cheap and washable but don't breathe, leaving you clammy, and they flatten quickly. Wool regulates temperature naturally — warm when it's cold, cool when it's warm — and is naturally dust-mite resistant, renewable, and biodegradable.
A quality wool duvet lasts 15 to 20+ years with proper care — roughly triple the lifespan of a synthetic duvet. Use a cover, air it out a few times a year, and have it professionally cleaned when needed.
