Cooler, Drier Nights with Tencel
The tencel cover is the perfect complement to the wool inside — together they give you the coolest, most refreshing sleep on a warm night. A smooth, breathable fibre, Tencel absorbs around 50% more moisture than cotton and releases it quickly, moving heat and dampness away as you sleep. The result is a duvet that sleeps cool, light and fresh through the warmest summer nights.
The Texeler Difference

Here's 5 things that sets us apart from every other brand you're considering.
Frequently Asked Questions
about the product
Tencel is a soft, silky fabric made from eucalyptus wood pulp sourced from FSC-certified forests. It's naturally breathable, exceptionally smooth against the skin, and up to 50% more moisture-absorbent than cotton — making it ideal for wicking away humidity alongside the wool fill underneath. It's also one of the most sustainable textile fibres available, produced in a closed-loop process that recycles nearly all water and solvents used.
The 120gr/m² is a lightweight summer duvet — ideal for warm sleepers, hot bedrooms, or summer-only use. The 365gr/m² is a balanced all-season weight that works through most of the year in a temperature-controlled bedroom. If your bedroom runs particularly cold in winter, you may want a heavier winter duvet alongside this one.
It's a strong choice for sleepers with sensitive skin, anyone drawn to modern eco-materials, or those who want a silky-smooth feel without the price of satin. The combination of Tencel's cool, soft surface and wool's natural temperature regulation makes it especially suited to warm sleepers and people who value sustainable luxury.
The main difference is the cover. A Tencel cover gives you a silkier, cooler-feeling surface with stronger moisture management than cotton — a good fit if you sleep warm or prioritise eco-friendly materials. The wool fill inside works the same way as in our other duvets, providing natural temperature regulation and breathability. Choose Tencel-Wool if the cover feel and sustainability credentials matter to you; choose our cotton or satin options if you prefer those textures.
practical information
I need a queen/king size - do you have that?
Our standard sizes are European (measured in cm), but we understand not everyone measures that way!
Need a queen? King? Something custom? Email us at info@warmwool.eu with your bedding size, and we'll make sure you get the perfect fit. We customize to any size you need.
(We do not make custom pillows)
Do I have to wash the bedding once in a while?
No. Wool has natural self-cleaning properties, so Texeler bedding requires virtually no maintenance. However, we recommend airing your bedding outdoors occasionally to keep it fresh.
Why can't I wash my bedding in the washing machine?
We strongly advise against machine washing most Texeler products. Machine washing strips away the natural lanolin (wool fat) that gives our bedding its exceptional properties—temperature regulation, moisture-wicking, and antibacterial protection.
Rest assured: all wool is thoroughly cleaned before processing using specialized techniques that preserve the beneficial lanolin.
For daily maintenance: Simply spot-clean any stains as needed or air your bedding outdoors monthly.
Need a washable option? Our Washable Wool Comforter is specially treated to be machine-washable at 40°C without compromising its natural benefits—ideal for families with children or those who prefer the convenience of machine washing.

What does the warranty cover?
Manufacturing defects that appear during everyday use, across every component of the product — including the wool fill, the cover fabric, the stitching, and hardware like zippers or snap buttons. Damage from accidents, improper use, or improper care (such as machine washing products that aren't designed for it) isn't covered.
How do I make a claim?
Email us at info@warmwool.eu with a clear photo of the defect and your proof of purchase. We'll review your claim and get back to you with the next steps.
