But the needling is just one step: before and after, multiple craftspeople prepare, inspect, and finish each piece using skills passed down through generations, ensuring your bedding performs flawlessly for decades.

It depends on your bedroom temperature and how you sleep. The 120gr/m² suits high summer or very warm sleepers, 200gr/m² works well for summer or warm sleepers year-round, 400gr/m² is a balanced all-season weight, and 600gr/m² delivers full winter warmth. If you're between two weights or your needs shift through the year, the Multi Choice system lets you add a second layer later to adjust.
Each Multi Choice duvet has buttons along the edges that let you connect it to one other weight in the range — two duvets at a time, not more. Use a duvet on its own, or pair it with another Multi Choice weight to build a custom warmth level. For example, pair a 120gr/m² with a 400gr/m² for extra warmth in cooler months, then separate them again when temperatures rise. If you own multiple weights, you can swap which two you connect depending on the season.
Yes — that's one of the main advantages of the Multi Choice system. Every weight is compatible with every other, so you can start with the one you need today and expand as your needs change, whether that's moving to a colder bedroom, adjusting to a new sleeping partner, or simply discovering you prefer more warmth than expected.
Both are modular systems, but they work differently. The ZipSet is a pre-configured two-layer set at 250gr/m² and 450gr/m² that zips together for 700gr/m² — ideal if you want a ready-made flexible system. Multi Choice gives you four weights to choose from and connect with buttons however you like, making it the better option if you want full control over your setup or plan to expand your system over time.

I need a queen/king size - do you have that?
Our standard sizes are European (measured in cm), but we understand not everyone measures that way!

Do I have to wash the bedding once in a while?
No. Wool has natural self-cleaning properties, so Texeler bedding requires virtually no maintenance. However, we recommend airing your bedding outdoors occasionally to keep it fresh.
Why can't I wash my bedding in the washing machine?
We strongly advise against machine washing most Texeler products. Machine washing strips away the natural lanolin (wool fat) that gives our bedding its exceptional properties—temperature regulation, moisture-wicking, and antibacterial protection.
Rest assured: all wool is thoroughly cleaned before processing using specialized techniques that preserve the beneficial lanolin.
For daily maintenance: Simply spot-clean any stains as needed or air your bedding outdoors monthly.
Need a washable option? Our Washable Wool Comforter is specially treated to be machine-washable at 40°C without compromising its natural benefits—ideal for families with children or those who prefer the convenience of machine washing.

How long does the warranty last?
Every Texeler product comes with a standard 5-year warranty from the date of purchase, applied to all our products without exception.
What does the warranty cover?
Manufacturing defects that appear during everyday use, across every component of the product — including the wool fill, the cover fabric, the stitching, and hardware like zippers or snap buttons. Damage from accidents, improper use, or improper care (such as machine washing products that aren't designed for it) isn't covered.
How do I make a claim?
